Controls Ltd were established in 1989 to specialise in the sale and distribution of new AC Variable Speed Drives,
AC and DC Motors and Soft Starts and the design and manufacture of Integrated Drive Systems/MCC's
and Control Panels.
Due to expansion, the company moved in 1992 to the current custom built premises. In 1994, Quantum Controls became ABB’s largest distributor in the UK, a trend that has continued year after year and in 2003 we were established as ABB’s largest distributor in Europe.
