Supply and Installation
A full supply and installation service is available, including cable installation, testing and site commissioning. This can take place over a weekend, keeping disruption to a minimum.

Service All the Way
ABB’s service engineers have detailed knowledge of all the products in their range, if a problem cannot be solved on site, a solution is sought upwards through ABB, all the way back to the research and development department if necessary. ABB have 17 dedicated service engineers and a network of local partners which means they can ensure full UK coverage offering the best support in the drives marketplace.
Product Specification
ABB’s engineers can advise on all aspects of drives and motors dimensioning, helping you to minimise your energy consumption and achieve quick payback. ABB and its partners can also advise on how to interface the drives to all the leading BMS supplies and control system manufacturers, as well as to external control and monitoring devices.
Delivery
ABB has the most sophisticated delivery system in the business to ensure that it not only provides the widest range of any manufacturer, but also that each model is available in quantity. Drives are always available either direct from ABB or its partners. In addition, several hundred thousand items are ready at ABB’s Central Stock in Germany waiting to be shipped to the UK in 24 hours.
Repair
Service engineers are equipped with a diagnostic suitcase for rapid field repairs. For a more comprehensive overhaul, the drive is taken back to ABB’s repair and test facility.
Warranty
All products are backed by an 18 months warranty from date of delivery or 12 months from date of commissioning whichever is sooner. Extended warranty packages can be provided on request.
ABB has made it cost effective and easy for system integrators to build up drive systems into either their own cubicles or Rittal enclosures. Comprehensive instructions and engineering drawings are provided in CD-ROM format to minimise the engineering time required. In addition, ABB provides full support to help with any technical issues.
