Above 5kVA Quantum Controls always recommend a site survey. Here the project generally requires a little more thought about health and safety risk assessments, method statements, logistics and floor loadings, electrical installation, remote monitoring, environment and after care services. Below 5kVA a survey is less usual unless there are specific installation issues e.g. a long runtime battery pack with manual handling and floor loading implications. There is a 19" rackmount format product 10-30kVA and version with a built in isolation transformer for critical applications requiring Galvanic isolation - 10-20kVA.
